Education-Kashmiri students lagging behind.Why?

Education is the most precious belonging which everyone should have. Today,it is 21st century and we all are witnessing how the literacy rate and power of education in the world is increasing.We have many courses to do at many levels and also the best colleges & universities.In India it is also good ,we have IIT's, NIT's, central universities, private colleges, polytechnics and many other ways of getting education.Student society of India is also good. Then apart from all this, why is only Kashmir lagging behind in education system? The answer of this question, perhaps,we all know but we dont want to deliver it. The answer is simple, In the whole state of Jammu & Kashmir which has population of nearly 10,143,700 people,there is no central university or any IIT. State has not its good infra structured private or govt. college campuses.It has only two universities in its two regions.There is also a NIT situated at Hazratbal, Srinagar but unfortunately students who got selected there are mostly from outside the state, Because now it has no reservation for locals of state.Last year in 208 AIEEE out of nearly 15,000 students who went through this test only 63 students from state got selected in NIT.Now the question arises here that, What will the other 14,037 students (who are not selected) do..........? Someone has to answer this. And also, Anytime when we talk about quality education in Kashmir, We have only Biscoe School, Burnhall School, Doctors & Engineers in mind. But the reality is that by doing this we all are settling ourselves in a fools paradise.We are not bringing ourselves out to the world which is outside Kashmir.We have to think beyond kashmir.Here in kashmir we are only doing courses in commerce & science mostly.And it is comon in kashmir, that engineering or MBBS students are superior than others, Now the BBA students are struggling hard to win this race of comparison.Lagey Raho..... But now time has changed we have to aliegnate ourself from this. Students should not compare themself with others.We should not be in competition of chosing courses for getting big salary packages.One thing is that Education never means about making money, it means other than that,it means getting knowledge of anything,either it is science,commerce,arts,painting,photography,media or anything else in the world. Simply,gaining knowledge of anything means you are getting education. So, we should not waste our time in these absurd ways of blaming each other & comparing ourself with others.We are in a competition with the world, we to face the whole world not ony kashmir or india. At last i want give you a simple example of all this:"Education is like a torch and the batteries of torch are courses, So wheather we use novino or eveready battery, torch will always give its light."
